It’s not enough to do great on the field or on the court—you’ve got to be seen doing great. Marketing plays a key role in any young player’s success.

At D & R Sports Management Group, we don’t wait for someone to notice our clients. We get our clients out in front of the team scouts. Did the recruiter miss your great game? We’ve got it on DVD, along with your career stats and any other information he needs. Did the scout miss your college’s workout day? We set up additional days for our clients and advertise that. We also set up individual workouts for each team that might be interested. 

We don’t wait for the team or scout to call back—we follow up to gauge their interest and keep our players front and center in their mind.

There are plenty of guys who are great college athletes, but it takes more to stay out in front. You keep up your skills; we’ll keep up your appearances so your dream of the big league remains alive.

Sports Contract Negotiation

Too many sports agents see their job as a numbers game. They represent 15, 20, or 30 guys a year—and when 2 or 3 get signed, they ignore the rest.

That’s not the way we do business. Dave Thomas and Ray Struck—those sport agent guys—are dedicated to getting you a pro sports contract and managing your career. We limit the number of clients we represent so that we can do a thorough, focused job of marketing each client and establishing him in a career with a professional sports team.
